END THE MEDINA COUNTY LICENSE PLATE RENEWAL TAX RIP-OFF
If you want to end the $20 Medina County renewal tax rip-off every time you renew your license plate….
NEXT TIME VOTE (D) to repeal the Medina County license plate renewal tax.
The Medina County Commissioners imposed a stealth $20 annual license plate tax without any public input. If the Commissioners can afford to spend $60 million of your tax dollars to build a new courthouse without a vote of the people, they do not need to gouge you $20 every year when you renew your license plate. If two new Vote (D) Commissioners (Pat Walker and Pauline Chapman) are elected in Medina County in November they will end this rip-off and keep that money in your pocket.

REPEAL THE BRIBERY TAX ON YOUR ELECTRIC BILL
If you want to end the Bribery Tax that was added to your monthly electric bill in exchange for receiving a $61 million bribe…
NEXT TIME VOTE (D) to repeal the Bribery Tax.
The Republican politicians who took the bribe were put in prison, but YOU ARE STILL PAYING the hidden fees that HB 6 added to your monthly electric bill to pay for power plants located in Indiana. They have charged you more than $300 million for the Bribery Tax so far and refuse to stop.
The VOTE (D) candidates will work to repeal the Republican Bribery Tax.

STOP THE $48 MILLION IN GIVEAWAYS FOR THE LEGACY HOTEL
If you want to stop massive giveaways to political insiders, like the $48 million in giveaways to the developer of the Legacy Hotel in downtown Medina…
NEXT TIME VOTE (D) to end massive giveaways to political insiders.
Medina County is giving to the former Republican Commissioner candidate who is the developer of the Legacy Hotel more than $48 million in public bonds, tax breaks and other giveaways of taxpayer money.
If two new Vote (D) Commissioners (Pat Walker and Pauline Chapman) are elected in Medina County in November they will stop these giveaways of taxpayer money.

STOP THE RELENTLESS INCREASE IN YOUR REAL ESTATE TAXES
If you want to stop massive increases in your real estate taxes…
NEXT TIME VOTE (D) to put an end to inflated real estate valuations.
The current Medina County officeholders take every chance they get to rip-off average working people. They keep jacking up real estate valuations based on dreamed up property values to grab more and more of your money.
The Vote (D) candidates understand that people are hurting and many are living on a fixed income. The Vote (D) candidates vow to push back against these staggeringly higher taxes.

THE INTERESTS OF THE PEOPLE SHOULD COME FIRST
If you want to stop County projects where they close a road or bridge for many months and do not care about the inconvenience it causes people…
NEXT TIME VOTE (D) to make minimizing public inconvenience a major consideration in how highway projects are performed.
We have all seen it. The County closes the road and no workers are anywhere in sight for months at a time. This is one of the ways that the current officeholders shovel money to their rich construction company contributors.
The Vote (D) candidates will make minimizing the inconvenience to the public a major factor in whether projects will be funded and how they are performed.

END GIVEAWAYS TO POLITICALLY CONNECTED MILLIONAIRES
If you want to end government giveaways to Medina’s politically connected millionaires…
NEXT TIME VOTE (D) to end Medina’s corporate welfare. The current Commissioners are using the Medina Port Authority and other scams that allegedly promote “development” to siphon off taxpayer resources for the benefit of their rich insider friends. The $48 million in giveaways to the developer of the Legacy Hotel in downtown Medina is just the tip of the iceberg. Medina millionaires should not receive handouts at your expense.
The Vote (D) candidates will put an end to Medina millionaire welfare. We need to help farmers keep putting food on our tables, not give money to millionaires who turn farmland into housing developments (and leave the rest of us with the burden of paying for more schools, police, fire departments, garbage collection and other services).

PROTECT YOUR RIGHTS TO CONTRACEPTIVES AND REPRODUCTIVE CARE
If you want to stop extremist Republican politicians from putting up roadblocks to obtaining contraceptives and reproductive care…
NEXT TIME VOTE (D) to protect your rights.
The voters passed an Ohio Constitutional Amendment to protect reproductive rights. However, Republican officeholders are still trying to enforce the laws that were made unconstitutional by the vote of the people. They are also introducing laws across the country that will prevent access to contraceptives. They have already done it in many states and will do it in Ohio unless you stop them.
Further, if Republicans can gain control of Congress and the White House, they will pass a national abortion ban.
The Vote (D) candidates believe that only you should decide if you want to have a child. We need to keep the government out of our bedrooms.

MAKE THE NEXUS PIPELINE PAY WHAT THEY PROMISED
If you want nexus to pay the MONEY they promised ohio taxpayers for our schools…
NEXT TIME VOTE (D) to force Nexus to pay up.
Current Medina County officeholders forced the Nexus Pipeline down the throats of Medina County residents based on false promises of large tax payments to help the schools. However, Nexus never paid and the current elected officials have done nothing. The current County officeholders will not lift a finger to force Nexus to pay. The Vote (D) candidates will demand that Nexus either pay up or face foreclosure and be shut down.

STOP THE RIDICULOUS WASTE OF MONEY ON COUNTY PROJECTS
If you want to stop the waste of your taxpayer money on wasteful and unnecessary County projects….
NEXT TIME VOTE (D) to end these projects and give the money back to the taxpayers.
Why spend millions of dollars of your taxpayer money and close the roads for many months to install traffic roundabouts, when a traffic light could be installed in a couple of days for less than 1% of the cost? The answer is that the rich contractors who contribute to current County elected officials get millions for building roundabouts, while you get inconvenienced and ripped off.
The VOTE (D) candidates will stop wasteful and unnecessary County projects.
